Startup India Registration is a government initiative launched in 2016 under the Startup India Scheme to support and promote startups in India by providing tax exemptions, funding support, easier compliance, and other benefits.
It's a process where a company or individual registers their business as a recognized startup with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) to access various benefits under the Startup India Scheme.
To qualify as a DPIIT-recognized startup:
